    Today I went down to the national arbouretum remembrance service on bike with granddaughter then on to a MacDonalds for a bite to eat, was quite chilly but granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed it.

    Oh Nick, I wish I'd have known you were there. I cycled there with a group from my local Tamworth cycle club, what a shame I didn't see you. It was enjoyable other than that freezing cold wind in just my cycling clothes (lycra), phew!

    Beardy Ian was with me as well , shame we missed you. It was a good day, though as you say it was a bit chilly, felt a bit for the squaddies of the honour guard as when we went up top after it was very cold with the wind blowing across.
